One of the most important factors to consider when choosing a CBD product is its potency. The potency of CBD oil is measured in milligrams per milliliter (mg/ml). This means that a 100 mg bottle of CBD oil contains 100 mg of CBD per milliliter of liquid.
However, not all CBD oils are created equal. This can lead to you overpaying for a product that is not as effective as you thought it would be. So how can you calculate the real potency of CBD oil between different brands and avoid overpaying?
For example, let's say you're comparing two brands of CBD oil: Brand A and Brand B. Brand A has a potency of 50 mg/ml, while Brand B has a potency of 100 mg/ml. If you buy a 10 mL bottle of Brand A, you'll get 500 mg of CBD. If you buy a 10 mL bottle of Brand B, you'll get 1000 mg of CBD.
In this case, Brand B is the more potent product, even though it has the same volume as Brand A. This is because Brand B has a higher mg/ml potency. It is easy to understand when comparing offerings within one brand but more confusing when comparing with other brands as the bottles will come in different sizes. Some manufacturers will now simply note on the label the % of that bottle that is its CBD component.
CBD can be used for many ailments, but there is a lot of choice on the market and potency can range from 1% to 40% in some cases, so choose carefully so you get the most for your dollar! Don't forget to subscribe for product and event updates! - The TRUE NORTH team
